If you want to order it in the US, though, we highly recommend you get it from The Japan Shop instead! They are a store specialised in all things Japanese educationary, and we cannot stress enough how much better they are than Amazon when it comes to getting you the Japanese-related books you need.

These prices include tax (6%) and shipping costs. If these prices seem a bit high compared to bulk/retail pricing, the base price for this title is €20/£20/$30, but shipping individual books is very expensive, because they weigh over 500 grams each. This means that as far as postal services go, they fall in the category “rather heavy letters”. Depending on where you live, this means shipping rates between €4.50 and €13 (we wish international postal services would be a bit more sensible…)
Don’t let it be said we’re only after you’re money too: we will refund you the difference between the tax+shipping cost, and the actual shipping costs.
Order a signed copy
You can also order a signed copy of the book, in which case we’ll run it by Michiel first so he can scribble his thankulatory note in the book and sign it, or if you prefer, write you a custom message (there may not be a book signing session, but that doesn’t mean we can’t offer the same end result!). Note that this might take a bit longer to ship than ordering a vanilla copy. Also, because Michiel lives in the Netherlands, you may be asked to pay a little extra to cover shipping from the Netherlands to you.
Should you want a custom text, simply fill in the text you’d like to get in your copy and hit the order button. If you want us to contact you for special arrangements before shipping, please write “Please contact me” in the message field. If there are any problems with the order (or we’d like to clarify something so we don’t mess it up for you) we will contact you before shipping. We also accept retail bulk purchases, priced at a 25%–33% retail discount rate (with much cheaper shipping rates compared to individual copies!). Retail orders are per carton of 11 books.
